The Acceleration of Death Benefits Rider provides for a one-time discounted payment of all, or a portion, of the amount that would normally be paid to beneficiary(ies) upon the death of the insured. Such payment will be made once the insured has been determined to be terminally ill with twelve months or less to live, subject to state variation, in the opinion of a physician acceptable to us. The payment under this rider will be made to the policy owner(s).
