What is the definition of moderate to vigorous activity?
Moderate Activity – such as walking with purpose or recreational dancing – will cause some increase in your breathing or heart rate; however, you can still maintain a conversation comfortably during the activity. You’ll also notice that you’re beginning to get warmer as your body temperature increases. Vigorous Activity – such as jogging, running, skipping or jumping jacks – will cause a higher increase in your breathing and heart rate. Carrying on a conversation may become difficult due to the increased effort required. You’ll notice that you feel quite warm and may also start to sweat and be out of breath.
