What is the defintion of nature vs nurture???
The real issue brought up with nature vs nurture is the question of are we a product of our environment (has our upbringing played the sole role in what you become -your personality, your physical traits, any medical conditions that you acquire- or are you the way you are because of your biology (be it due to genetics, evolution, etc.). Take that and run with it. You don’t necessarily need a scholarly definition if you can present it as a scenario. Ex.: “Bob is 47, unmarried, living in the bad side of town and is addicted to crack cocaine. What scientists want to know is this: does Bob suck at life because his dad was an alcoholic divorsee and was raised in a low-income situation, or is it because he has a genetic disposition to become addicted to crack and because biologically, he has depression and a personality disorder? That is the essence of the nature versus nurture question.” Okay, you don’t have to be so informal, but it isn’t a bad way to start…
