A. 29 gauge is in the range of .014 to .017 thickness. 26 gauge is in the range of .018 to 0.21 thickness and is available at an additional cost. The lower the gauge number, the thicker the product. A thicker sheet of metal will last longer and be more resilient to dings and punctures. more
