A Bail Bond Agent uses his or her own property to guarantee a defendant’s bail bond. A Bail Bondsman cannot post Federal or Immigration / INS Bail Bonds, whereas a Bail Bond Surety Agent can. A Surety Agent guarantees your bail bond with the financial backing of an Insurance Company. A Surety Agent can post all types of bail bond, including Federal Bail Bonds and Immigration / INS Bail Bonds.
