WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CLEP AND A DSST (Dantes) EXAM?
As of October 1, 2006, DSST (DSST – Dantes Subject Standardized Tests)exams are computer based at all Regis testing locations with a two hour time limit. CLEP tests are administered by computer and start with a tutorial. Once the student begins the timed portion of the exam, he or she has 90 minutes to complete it. Students should answer ALL question on both DSST (Dantes) and CLEP exams, as there is no penalty for incorrect answers. The time allowed for CLEP exams may be extended if the student has a documented learning or physical disability. Contact the Testing Center in advance of registering.
Both CLEP and DSST exams offered at Regis University Nellis Air Force Base are computer-based exams.
