One of Capital Pride’s strengths is that it is truly an event organized by and for the LGBT community in Washington, D.C. Our Community Partners are non-profit organizations that have made a contribution to support Capital Pride. In addition, a number of those groups also organize the many affiliated events during the week that leads up to the Parade and Festival. Sponsors are typically for-profit corporations that support Pride and support the LGBT Community through monetary contributions or by donating in-kind services to Capital Pride.
