What is the difference between a folder and a learning module?
Folders are actually pages just like the home page; adding a folder will create a sub-level to which more can be added- additional folders, files, links, and learning modules, for example. If your WebCT site is simple you probably don’t need to use folders and a learning module (e.g for lectures) can be placed directly on the home page. Learning modules are a group of files or links that have a table of contents and are the best way to organise a set of lecture slides or related materials. Learning modules are created on home pages or folder pages using the button ‘Add Content Link’ and selecting ‘Create Learning Module’.
