What is the difference between a Jamboree and a Camporee?

0

A Jamboree is a term that is restricted to indicate a National or World Jamboree while a Camporee is held by a local district or by one or more Councils. The National Boy Scout Jamboree is normally held every four years and scouts gather by council troops from all over the country and foreign countries send representatives. A council camporee is held on a Council level and only troops from that council will attend and is normally held as an annual event.
