A lesion can refer to any focused abnormality in the body, such as a tumor, a blood clot, a cyst, an aneurysm or an inflammatory mass. A tumor is an abnormal collection of cells that has grown due to a change in the cells. Tumors can be either malignant or benign and are a type of lesion. more
