The many terms used in the industry to describe manufactured and modular homes can be confusing. For example, some people think that a double wide refers to a two section manufactured home. This may or may not be true. Modular homes are also built in a two section double wide manner. Numerous complaints are received from consumers who thought they were buying a modular home only to find out that they were sold a manufactured home.
