A nuisance trapper (aka Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator or Problem Animal Controller) is a person licensed to control wildlife. Most states, including Massachusetts and Connecticut, only allow the poisoning of wildlife under very strict and rare circumstances. Trapping is, therefore, the alternative method.
