What is the difference between a Sales Agent and a Sales Partner?

0

A Sales Agent refers to a sales organisation that plays a lead generation role for Nortel’s products and receives a commission for that work. The Sales Agent does not have responsibility for the customer. By contrast, a Sales Partner is an individual who is highly skilled in selling, positioning and carrying out some network design elements related to Nortel’s products. The Sales Partner will then outsource complex design, installation and maintenance skills and resources to Nortel’s Specialist Support Partners. The Sales Partner does have responsibility for the customer and is accountable for the whole end-to-end solution.
