What is the difference between a second (double) major and a second degree?
Double Major Second Degree • May be completed within the number of credit hours required for one major. • One degree is chosen as the primary major, which is reflected on the student’s diploma. The second major is reflected on the transcript. • Requires an additional 30 hours beyond those required for the completion of one degree. • Both majors are considered equal with two diplomas issued to the student, each reflecting one of the degrees completed.
