What is the difference between a “Skillion” and a “Gable” roof?
A Skiilion roof is a roof that does not have a peak inn it and is sometimes called a flat roof. This is not necessarily correct because to allow rainwater to flow into a gutter some fall on the roof is required.. The fall will be dependent upon the roof cladding manufacturer requirements. For example, Stramit “Monoclad” roof sheet requires a minimum 2 degree fall while a Stramit “Corrugated” roof sheet requires a minimum 5 degree fall on the roof.
