What is the difference between a subscription and a perpetual license?
A paid subscription for a StrikeIron product is an agreement to pay a specified amount of money for a specified amount of time. For example, a monthly subscription license for a product would require paying a reoccurring monthly subscription fee for activation of the product. A monthly subscription fee for a product is for one year with automatic renewal and can be cancelled at any time. An annual subscription license for a product would require paying an annual fee for a 12 month period with automatic renewal and can be cancelled at any time but there is no refund and no prorated refund for the remaining time. A perpetual license for product is a one time price for unlimited use of a product with no time frame restrictions.
