• The A.A. (Associate of Arts) degree is designed for transfer to a university to complete the Bachelor's degree. • The A.S. (Associate of Science) degree may also transfer to some universities if an articulation agreement exists. Its main purpose is to prepare one for entry into the workforce. • The A.A.S. (Associate of Applied Science) degree is NOT designed for transfer. It prepares you with technical/vocational skills for immediate employment. more
