What is the difference between an Academic Appeal and a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeal form?

0

An Academic Appeal is used when the student is attempting to appeal his or her add/drop date, graduation application and grade change request; anything that has to deal with the students academic progress. A SAP Appeal is specific to GPA and completion rate requirements that cover both academic and financial aid. Students who fall below a 2.0 GPA or 67% completion rate will need to complete the SAP appeal form. Both appeal forms can be found online at www.minnesota.edu/forms.
