Rather, it forwards mail sent to your permanent (lifetime) alumni email address to your current personal email account. For example, if your username with Boston University’s Alumni Online Community is “smith” and you have a personal email account with Gmail listed as smith@gmail.com then: smith@alum.bu.edu (Email Forwarding for Life email address) forwards mail to smith@gmail.com (personal email account).
