What is the difference between an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and Primary Care Paramedic (PCP)?
Primary Care Paramedic are able to assess and treat medical and trauma patients through a greater degree of knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology. PCP’s can administer a greater range of treatments and apply a larger range of skills in many hazardous environments. Our one-of-a-kind practical training site and our disciplined approach to teamwork make us unique. Students are involved in the operation of a working emergency services department. Students train with the equipment and are given time to achieve their skills and become proficient at their jobs. Scenario based training over the length of the course makes you confident, capable and safe. Together with our partners we have achieved the credentials necessary to develop, support, and accredit a wide range of training programs. We pass on our capability and quality to you.
