What is the difference between an Osteopath, a Chiropractor and a Physiotherapist?

We are really different from physiotherapists and Chiropractors. Given that my speciality is a biodynamic approach or Craniosacral Osteopathy my approach is very different even from the standard postural structural Osteopath. Many of my techniques are very gentle and they require me to listen to the body rather than palpate. Cranial Osteopathy relies on a very skillful perception of innate body motions in the fluids of the body. The difference with my approach is that I look for healthy motion not just focus on what and where there is disease or unhealthy motion. Most of my treatment is devoted to trying to help the body operate around this healthier pattern of motion. In addition I may ocassionally do manipulation or clicking adjustments like a Chiropractor and targeted soft tissue work if requested. I also, like physios, use ultrasound and give exercises so that you are more independant of the need for treatment. Our philosophy is really different too. We are probably the most holist
