What is the difference between blown and cast films?

Cast film is clear on the roll and quiet when it comes off the roll. Blown film tacky and loud (noisy) when it comes off the roll. Both films perform the same and have the same strength respectively. Orders of either film will usually fall on customer preference. The cost on either film remains the same.
