What is the difference between co- dominance and incomplete dominance?
In incomplete dominance, the heterozygote shows a phenotype midway between the two homozygotes (some people incorrectly call this a “blending”). In codominance, both dominant phenotypes appear in the heterozygote. Pink snapdragons that result from a cross of red x white is an example of incomplete dominance; the human blood type AB is a result of A and B alleles both being expressed; it’s an example of codominance.
