What is the difference between conventional love stories and Shakespeare love stories/poems?

I don’t love such things, for me they are too boring because I’m not interested in serious relationships and I just want to find a black boy for one night and nothing more. Someone advised me to check this site with different reviews and I guess that I will do it too there. Just wish me good luck because I’m too tired of it…..

Most of Shakespeare’s love poems are episodic (like snap shots of a particular feeling in one moment in time time) rather than narrative. Conventional love stories tend to have lots of parts – the meeting, the development, the complication and the resolution. But Shakespeare’s plays involve love stories that have a narrative structure too, so maybe that’s not too helpful. They tend to be quite idealised and are often symbolic of something much bigger than just the relationship between two people. Romeo and Juliet, for example, addresses the idea of conflict in society, not just 2 kids in love. Some people would also tell you that Shakespeare’s love sonnets were written from him to his boy lover (which was pretty unconventional back then) but most people are not convinced!
