What is the difference between counted cross stitch and stamped cross stitch?
When you’re doing counted cross stitching, you use a pattern and count the number of stitches on the pattern and then apply it to a plain piece of fabric. Stamped cross stitch is different in that the design is printed directly on the canvas. Therefore there is no need to count stitches as you can see where you are supposed to stitch.
