What is the difference between custom stick built and custom panelized homes?
A custom stick built home is building your home from your blueprints at the site with our carpenters performing all the labor from start to finish. A custom panelized home is still built from your blueprints, but we send your prints to Sterling Building Systems where they build the walls, install the windows, and then deliver those walls (or panels) to the site. Your home is ready to be delivered usually in 6 to 8 weeks from the date the order is placed. A crane will set the walls and floor and roof system and then the entire home will be sheeted probably within a week from the start of the set time. At this time the home will be ready for the plumbing, heating, and electrical work. Our carpenters will then put on the deck, siding, shingles, and finish the interior trim work. There is no difference in quality between stick built and panelized construction.
