If it says Message Sent, and the person has replied to it, you are texting a person outside of the Verizon network. If it says Message Sent, and you know the person has the Verizon network, that means, the message is still trying to get to their phone. Delivery Successful only shows up when you are sending messages to a Verizon phone, and it simply means that the message got to the person’s phone and they have most likely opened it.
