Although Dragon Quest is just the Japanese name for Dragon Warrior, there were changes in the games. Dragon Warrior 1’s had better graphics than Dragon Quest 1, and characters gained rear and side views when walking. Dragon Quest 1 and 2 originally required passwords (instead of using the save feature). All the Dragon Quest games have been edited in the US releases for religious, language, and usually sexual content.
