Coco Peat and expanded clay pebbles has difference in it’s formation and application. Coco Peat is made up of coconut husk and expanded clay pebbles is produced by firing natural clay to temperatures of 1100 – 1200 °C in a rotating kiln. Common uses of expanded clay pebbles are blocks, slabs, geotechnical fillings, lightweight concrete, water treatment, hydroponics and hydroculture. Coco Peat is used as a soil additive. It can be used as an oil absorbent on slippery floors, bedding in animal farms and pet houses to absorb animal waste so the farm is kept clean and dry. Coco Peat is mainly use for gardening. Gardening With Less Water Coco Peat helps in better yields.
