What is the difference between Frontline and Revolution?
Frontline does a better job of controlling ticks, however both products work well for flea control. Revolution will control some internal parasites as well as fleas and ticks, and will control some intestinal parasites in cats, and/or heartworm for dogs and cats. Revolution can be used to treat specific parasite problems such as ear mites in cats and dogs, or sarcoptic mange in dogs. Both products are applied to the skin over the nape of the neck once a month. Revolution is absorbed into the pet’s bloodstream, while Frontline is only absorbed into the sweat glands of the skin. Both products however are extremely safe.
