What is the difference between Interact Club and the Community Involvement Council (CIC) in VJC?
Both the Interact Club and the Community Involvement Council strongly believes in service without rewards. The CIC is a planning and liaising committee, made up of 20 odd members dedicated to organizing projects to benefit the community. The CIC liaises with external organizations to provide avenues of service for the whole college. In Interact Club, Interactors dedicate themselves to at least 1 regular service (known as home groups) every year. The CIC is in a way similar to the Executive Committee of Interact Club, which plans and organizes projects. What is different is that the CIC gets volunteers from the whole college to participate in their events but the Interact Club has permanent members who are actively involved in all the projects of the club.
