Kheer and phirni is very similar between each other, basically both are rice puddings. The difference : 1. Kheer – usual using basmati Rice(cooked with milk) 2. Phirni – usual using grounds rice ( dissolved in milk ) The process is same, which you have to boil the milk with sugar then put in Rice/ground rice, Then all the nut or dried fruit. Then chill. Instead of saffron, this pudding can be flavoured with ground green cardamoms seeds or rose water or kewda water. You can served : – I serve Kheer either hot or chilled. But I’ll love it hot. – Phirni all the times serve it cold and enjoy with lovely chilled ice cream.
