What is the difference between LIST and LISTSERV addresses?
The LIST address is the address to which you send your responses, questions or comments. This will be distributed to everyone else subscribed to the list. The LISTSERV address is the address you used to subscribe to the listserv. This is the same one to use to send all of your COMMANDS to. What would happen if you sent a command (like SUBSCRIBE or DIGEST) to the LIST address instead of to the LISTSERV address? Simple — your command would be treated like an email message and would be sent to everyone on the list.
