What is the difference between Oil Rubbed Bronze and Aged Bronze?

A. Aged Bronze is a new finish from Schlage. It is a lifetime finish and is design to not age or distress over time. Oil Rubbed Bronze however does wear and distress with age depending upon its usage and environmental conditions. There is no reliable way to predict this wear, so our suggestion is that if you like the look of Oil Rubbed Bronze, but don’t want to take the chance of what it may look like, choose Aged Bronze.
