The visual appearance is mostly the same but a slightly higher light transmittance is noticed. These have a longer life expectancy of 15 years. They do not turn yellow. These panels are used in areas that are lit for 24 hours a day. They are made of a thicker material. They do need a special cutting tool. There are more instances in breakage and cutting.
