Polystyrene are the most economical way to enjoy Sky-Scapes®. These panels are lightweight, easier to cut, and with an easier application. Also, they are shipped less expensively due to being shipped in a roll, thus less freight fees to the end user. These have good color reproduction. They are used in areas where lights are only on for the typical workday hours. They are also great to use for seasonal changes! Acrylic Panels are our premium panels. The visual appearance is mostly the same but a slightly higher light transmittance is noticed. These have a longer life expectancy of 15 years. They do not turn yellow. These panels are used in areas that are lit for 24 hours a day. They are made of a thicker material. They do need a special cutting tool. There are more instances in breakage and cutting. Also, shipping requirements are different than the polystyrene; these panels are shipped flat with more packing material. Acrylic panels are only available by toll-free telephone order. ...  more
