Quarter units are based on 10-12 week courses. Semester units are based on 15 week courses. When calculating units from a quarter unit school, we must transfer them into semester units. An example of unit conversion: a four-quarter unit course, will count for 2.67 semester units. If you need to complete three semester units of coursework, we recommend a five-quarter unit course or two courses combined if offered in smaller units.
