Rose otto oil is the highest frequency essential oil with 320 hz, meaning it is the most potent and one of the most expensive, requiring 30 roses to make one drop of medicinal grade oil. The process to go from rose petals to rose otto involves simply the roses, pure water and steam, nothing else. We only use organic Rose Otto oil in LAVISH. Rose essence, a common and cheap cosmetic ingredient, is often synthetic containing none of the therapeutic qualities of rose. Rose absolute is generated by mixing the rose petals with chemical solvents such as hexane. So that rules it out in our no chemical formulation!
