What is the difference between S-series and P-series?

0

The S series stands for Scientific, while the P series stands for Professional. Currently we are only offering one S series thermal camera, the ICI 7320 S. The difference between the S series and P series is simply the video update rate or frames per second. The S series camera runs at 9 Hz while the P series runs at 50/60 Hz. Generally the S series camera is for research and development where a high definition video output is not necessary. Additionally a 9 Hz infrared camera requires no export license, while the 50/60 Hz infrared cameras do.
