What is the difference between SPLENDA® Brand Sweetener (sucralose) and stevia products?
Sucralose- and stevia-based products differ in both the way they are made and how they taste. Stevia is the common name for steviol glycosides extracted from the stevia plant. This no-calorie sweetening agent is known to leave a bitter or licorice-like aftertaste.
