What is the difference between split sole and full sole in ballet slippers/point shoes? What is better?
Actually India, there are split sole pointe shoes. Leo’s makes them. http://www.allaboutdance.com/s.nl/it.A/i… Split sole gives your feet a better line. Full sole look like little kid ballet shoes to me. I just feel like split sole fit better and give more flexibility. There’s not really one better than the other, it’s just what you like. Though, if you’re a beginner on pointe, I’d go with the full sole.
