There are many differences between Aztec Athletic teams and sport clubs. The Associated Students manages the SDSU sport clubs program. Teams are usually self-funded via member dues, alumni donations, fund-raising efforts and corporate contributions. Sport Club-athletes pay for the cost of their team travel, equipment, uniforms and officiating expenses.
