What is the difference between the clubs programs and Cypress Mountains Kids Camps?

A – The programs offered by the club are coached by volunteer parents. Our goal is to introduce kids to cross country skiing and to hopefully inspire them to continue with life-long participation in the sport. Being a club, we encourage the kids to make lasting friendships and the parents to share experiences in a social atmosphere. The club’s Skill Development Program is based on a progressive system of attaining stickers when certain skills are acquired. The teen programs build on that base allowing children to pursue either a recreational or competitive path. The intention is for the children to return each year from ages 4 to 18 to build on their skill levels and friendships. For information on the Cypress Kids Camps, visit the Cypress Mountain website.
