What is the difference between the conclusion and the recommendation in a report writing?

0

A conclusion means summing up what you’ve written. Recommendations are suggestions for the future. For example, “In summary, my career strengths are…..” and under “Recommendations” you recommend whatever you want to do next, and the means of getting there. Say you wanted a promotion but you’d need to take a course in accounting, the promotion is what your aiming for and the means to do that is to take the course.

Conclusion is a summary of facts and observations. Recommendation takes into account the steps that need to be undertaken to correct any problems or issues arising out of the conclusion.

0

recommendation is what alternatives you suggest and the pros and cons of each and your recommended choice. Conclusion is basically summarizing.
