Delta Dental PPO is a dental preferred provider organization, or PPO. Delta Dental PPO network dentists have agreed to accept significantly reduced fees as payment-in-full, which are typically 15-30% below maximum plan allowance fees. Delta Dental Premier is a traditional fee-for-service program. Delta Dental Premier network dentists have agreed to accept Delta's maximum plan allowances as payment-in-full. This means they cannot "balance bill" Delta patients for any difference between their submitted charge and Delta's maximum plan allowance.
