Where the ball is in a short bed truck is a BIG difference when you are turning in a tight place with a trailer having a wide neck. The Diamond Hitch is 1″ to 4″ in front of the axle so that means you can turn sharper. The others are between 4″to 8″ in front of the axle so you can only turn about half the distance before you hit the cab.
