atmosphere is the blanket of air that surrounds the earth while ozone layer forms a part of the atmosphere. it is formed in the stratosphere layer of the atmosphere.ozone(O3) is formed by the action of the sun rays on atmospheric oxygen(O2) and this conversion occur at a height of 16km from the earth’s surface.
