What is the difference between the Seattle Climate Partnership and the Seattle Climate Action Network?

0

The Seattle Climate Partnership was formed by Mayor Nickels’ Green Ribbon Commission to provide a voluntary pact among Seattle-area employers to take action to reduce their own emissions, and to work together to help meet the community-wide emission reduction goals. In joining the Seattle Climate Partnership, Seattle-area employers are committing to take specific actions that will reduce their greenhouse gas emissions while at the same time cutting costs, improving the work environment for their employees, and improving their record of corporate responsibility. Seattle Climate Action Now is a campaign to inspire Seattle residents to take actions that reduce climate pollution. The campaign is led by the City of Seattle and jointly implemented with an enthusiastic network of community groups, non-profit organizations and businesses known as Community Partners.
