What is the difference between treatment and healing?
Treatment, the way we understand it most of the time, implies addressing a particular symptom or complaint that brings a patient to the doctors office. This means the treating doctor looks for ways to eliminate the symptom. If somebody has depression there are ANTI-depressant medications; for anxiety there are ANTI-anxiety medications; for infections, we would use ANTI-biotic medications, and so on. This ANTI mentality has a militaristic approach that originated in the Latin language.
