UNRWAs role encompasses assistance, protection and global advocacy for Palestine refugees.. UNHCRs mandate is to provide international protection to refugees worldwide who fall within the scope of its Statute and to seek durable solutions for them, in cooperation with States, whenever political conditions allow. .UNHCR is responsible for Palestine refugees outside UNRWA's areas of operation.
