What is the difference between VSEPR diagram and Lewis-Dot diagram?
Valence shell electron pair repulsion (VSEPR) theory is a model used for predicting the shapes of individual molecules, based upon their extent of electron-pair electrostatic repulsion, determined using steric numbers. On the other hand, Lewis structures, also called Lewis-dot diagrams, are diagrams that show the bonding between atoms of a molecule, and the lone pairs of electrons that may exist in the molecule.
